However you wish to view these posts: a quick perusal, a lingering glance, or a stepping stone to your own travels, I hope you will be no less inspired.]
The countryside has undeniable beauty and pleasures, but after a time I miss the sea. I sought a coastal town and stayed a few weeks in Fécamp, France.
Walking along the coast nourishes me as few things do.
Others seek different pleasures.
I watched the ever-changing sky and sea.
And strolled along farmland
-despite the occasional muddy path.
Coastal towns in winter hold a particular charm.

Picturesque towns are many.
As are solemn reminders of the tragedy of war.
But beauty resonates.
